...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM HST THIS AFTERNOON 
FOR THE ISLAND OF KAUAI IN KAUAI COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...The island of Kauai in Kauai County.

* WHEN...Until 315 PM HST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in 
  streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 144 PM HST, radar indicated moderate to locally heavy rain
    over north Kauai. Rain rates have decreased from an hour ago
    and the streams over north Kauai has started to level off.
    Additional showers will be possible through the afternoon.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kekaha, Princeville, Kilauea, Alakai Swamp Trails, Kokee
    State Park, Na Pali State Park, Wainiha, Haena, North Fork
    Wailua Trails, Waimea, Hanalei, Polihale, Mana, Barking
    Sands, Waimea Canyon State Park and Kalihiwai.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone 
to flooding.
