DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Typhoon Saudel was
located near Latitude 24.2 degrees North and Longitude
135.6 degrees East. Saudel is moving west-northwest at 18 mph. It
is expected to maintain this general course with a slight
decrease in forward speed through Tuesday. This forecast track will
take Saudel near Okinawa Tuesday night.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 125 mph. Saudel is forecast to
maintain this intensity through tonight.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
90 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 195 miles.
