Situation:  A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and
showers lies slow moving over the group and expected to affect parts
of the country until today. Meanwhile, a moderate to fresh
southeasterly wind flow continues to prevail over the group.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Occasional showers  over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori,
Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands,
Lau and Lomaiviti  groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
Elsewhere, partly cloudy with afternoon or evening brief showers.
Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls possible.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying flood
prone areas.
Showers gradually easing from the west later in the day.
Cool at night.

Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, gusty at times.
Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for Wednesday  : Fine apart from brief showers over
Sigatoka/Coral Coast, Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori,
Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Cakaudrove southern Bua, Taveuni and nearby
smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti  groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller
islands.
Elsewhere, mainly fine.
