EDT, Tuesday, May 19, 2026. THE NEXT SCHEDULED FORECAST WILL BE ISSUED AT 6:00 A.M. EDT TOMORROW. WARNING IN EFFECT: There are no public warnings in effect at this time. GENERAL SITUATION: A mid- to upper-level disturbance lingering east of the island chain will continue to support showers and isolated thunderstorms across the Central and Southeastern Bahamas tonight through tomorrow. SPECIAL WEATHER NOTES: Rip Currents: There is a moderate to high risk of rip currents on all east-coast and Atlantic coastal waters of the island chain. Swimmers are advised to exercise caution when entering these waters.
