The wind forecast for the next few hours is low confidence, particularly when it comes to the direction. In general, variable direction should be expected, with speeds around 5 mph through about 10 pm tonight. Thereafter, a south to southeasterly wind direction will be maintained into at least Monday night into early Tuesday. Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase after midnight tonight, with the most likely timing at the burn site between 3 am and 9 am Monday. A low chance of redevelopment mid to late afternoon Monday exists, continuing into Monday evening. A low chance of downburst winds that could lead to sudden increase in wind speeds and shifting directions will accompany any thunderstorms both late tonight and again Monday afternoon. Very hot conditions with relative humidities in the 25 to 35 percent range should be expected both Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
