This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...
Heat index values in the 100 to near 110 degree range will remain
common across parts of eastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas
into early evening. The higher of these values are over southeast
Oklahoma, along a nearly stalled surface boundary. Conditions will
begin to improve after sunset. 

Overnight tonight, showers and thunderstorms remain forecast to
develop across much of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas, with
the greater potentials along and north of Interstate 40.
Instability lifting northeast and interacting with increasing 
winds aloft will help to create a limited severe risk across parts
of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Locally damaging 
winds are the primary hazard overnight.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are likely to be ongoing Monday morning across parts
of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas before ending by mid 
afternoon. Hot temperatures are likely to develop across portions 
of the region Monday afternoon and heat advisories may be 
required. The hot weather expands and intensifies on Tuesday ahead
of slight storm chances Wednesday. The weather pattern remains 
hot and mostly dry for late week into next weekend.
