...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MADISON AND CENTRAL
BEAVERHEAD COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM MDT...

At 253 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 16 miles north of Lima, or 23 miles south of Dillon,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dillon and Beaverhead Rock State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
southwestern Montana.
