LEON...NORTHWESTERN MADISON...SOUTHEASTERN GRADY...SOUTHERN THOMAS
AND SOUTHWESTERN BROOKS COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 456 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Quitman to 14 miles south
of Boston to near Monticello to 13 miles south of Cairo. Movement was
south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Greenville, Alma, Dills, Everett, Hamburg, Pinetta, Rocky
Hill, Miccosukee, Lovett, Nankin, Casa Blanco, Empress, Lake
Miccosukee, Fincher, Moncrief, Festus, Aucilla, Cherry Lake, and
Lois.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
