* AFFECTED AREA...Portions of central and northern California.

* TIMING...Until 10 AM PDT this morning.

* WINDS...Northeast to east winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 25 to 45
  mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Daytime humidity 10 to 20% with single digits
  possible and very poor overnight recoveries.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
  burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the field of
