...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Cache, eastern Box
Elder and northwestern Rich Counties through 900 PM MDT
...

At 820 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Clarkston to near Wellsville. Movement was
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Logan, Cache, Smithfield, Hyrum, Wellsville, Lewiston, Mantua,
Clarkston, Trenton, Utah State University, Benson, Peter, Garden,
North Logan, Providence, Nibley, Hyde Park, Richmond, Millville, and
River Heights.

This includes US Route 89 between mile markers 459 and 489.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northern Utah.
