...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM MDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL BOX ELDER AND NORTHEASTERN TOOELE COUNTIES...

At 606 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles east of Utah Test and Training Range North to
8 miles northwest of Delle, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Delle, Great Salt Lake South of the Causeway, Utah Test and Training
Range North, Hat Island, and Lakeside.

This includes Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 58 and 70.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near the Great Salt Lake, get away from the water and move 
indoors or inside a vehicle. remember, lightning can strike out to 
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you 
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter 
now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
