...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN STERLING...NORTHWESTERN
TOM GREEN AND NORTHWESTERN IRION COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 453 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 23
miles west of Arden, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Sterling,
northwestern Tom Green and northwestern Irion Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
west central Texas.
