Warm to hot conditions and scattered showers and storms will continue through the week ahead, particularly for our northern and eastern fire districts. A few storms may become strong to severe. Minimum relative humidity values will fall into the middle 20 percent range in east Texas to 40 percent range in southwest Arkansas. Mixing heights will similarly range from 3000 to 4000 ft northeast to 8000 to 9000 ft southwest. Variable winds will become southerly into the day tomorrow at maximum sustained speeds of 8 to 12 mph with occasional gusts of up to 20 mph possible.
