...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN GREENUP AND CARTER
COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Triplett, or 9 miles northeast of Morehead, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grayson, Olive Hill, Grayson Lake State Park, Carter Caves State
Park, Load, Gesling, Greenbo Lake, Oldtown, Denton, Carter, Grahn,
Hopewell, Brushart, Willard, Hitchins, Warnock, Soldier, and Globe.

This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 149 and
176.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
