Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the ridge lines between Noon and 1 PM before moving across or near the burn scar through early evening. Heavy rainfall and lightning will the primary storm risks, especially between 2 PM and 6 PM. Gusty outflow winds up to 45 mph and some brief small hail will be possible should a stronger storm impact the area. A Flash Flood Watch has been posted from 2 PM to 9 PM for the burn scar area. Activity should pull off to the east during the evening with clearing skies overnight. An active monsoon plume will stay over the area through Thursday bringing daily rounds of thunderstorms each day (50-70% Chance). Heavy rainfall will continue to be possible with the wettest days looking like Tuesday and Wednesday. Flash flooding could occur any of these days, and additional Flash Flood Watches may become necessary. 1 to 2 inch per hour rain rates will be possible with the stronger thunderstorms through the period.
