Today and tomorrow bring another couple of hot days, with temperatures above seasonal values for late August, with temperatures hovering around 97-98 degrees. In addition, both days bring a chance for showers and storms, especially Sunday, with the greatest coverage between 3-10 PM MDT each day. Any storm will have a lightning risk, and stronger storms may produce heavy rainfall, strong wind gusts to 60 mph, and large hail up to 1 inch. Storms will be more scattered in nature, so while the fair location may not be directly impacted, they will be within the vicinity of the location of the fair.
