Thunderstorm chances over the burn scar will be moderate to high through Wednesday as monsoon moisture increases over the area. There will be the possibility of rainfall amounts sufficient to cause localized flash flooding on the burn scar most days, though Wednesday appears to have the greatest risk for heavy rainfall. Winds will be light downslope/downvalley overnight into the morning hours before becoming breezy from the west to northwest at around 10-20 mph most afternoons. The exception will be near thunderstorms where erratic gusts up to 45 mph will be possible.
