Northerly winds this morning will shift to the east this afternoon then southeast tonight through Wednesday. Humidity recovery behind the front will keep minimum day time substantially higher than the past couple days, especially on Wednesday when southeasterly winds will tap some gulf moisture. This will also mean increasing shower and thunderstorm chances especially mid-late week. A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible on Thursday followed by a cold front on Friday, which will shift the winds from the dominant southerlies to a northerly direction for Friday.
