FNUS55 KPSR 190850 FWFPSR Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central Arizona and Southeast California National Weather Service Phoenix AZ 150 AM MST Tue May 19 2026 .DISCUSSION... There will be a slow day-to-day warming of temperatures, but overall high temperatures will remain near seasonal normals as the normals also slowly rise. Very dry conditions will persist through the end of the week with minimum RH values around 5-15% each day. Overnight recoveries will be poor to fair, mostly around 20-45%. Seasonal wind patterns are expected each day, with afternoon upslope breezes up to 15-25 mph. There will be an increase in high clouds across the region and thickest across south-central AZ, which should limit mixing heights somewhat. Mixing heights will be higher tomorrow, above 10K ft, with thinner clouds and less coverage. Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found in the Area Forecast Discussion.
