* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected during very strong ebb
  currents Tuesday morning.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...From 5 AM to 9 AM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft, 
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the 
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 3.6 kt at 653 PM Monday.
  Seas 7 ft. Very strong ebb current of 7.02 kt at 703 AM Tuesday.
  Seas 10 ft. Ebb current of 3.39 kt at 747 PM Tuesday. Seas 6 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
