Decaying bands of showers are approaching Little Grand Canyon this morning, with lightning activity decreasing at the moment. With daytime heating, greater instability should develop and allow for scattered showers and thunderstorms though a several hour period of dry conditions is likely to occur today. Showers and thunderstorms are likely to track northeastward through the area tonight. Surface winds will be breezy out of the southwest today with gusts to 20-25mph.
