.DISCUSSION... Radar returns this afternoon are showing increased
convective activity to the west and east of the fire. Expect
increased thunderstorm activity through about midnight tonight, 
with typical storms bringing erratic, gusty outflow winds of 30-40
mph, heavy rain, small hail, and frequent lightning. There will 
be about a 5% chance for storms to become severe, meaning 50-60 
mph gusts and/or damaging hail to about 1 inch in diameter. 
Tonight will also see poor overnight RH recoveries on midslopes 
and upper elevations.

A cold front will pass on Sunday, bringing westerly wind gusts of
around 20 mph in the afternoon. Better mixing on Sunday should
improve overnight recoveries. Drier conditions return on Monday
as high pressure builds again over the Northern Rockies.
