.DISCUSSION...Chances for showers and thunderstorms increasing
after 2pm MDT today tracking from southwest to the northeast. 
Thunderstorms may be strong to marginally severe with a direct
impact producing lightning, localized heavy rainfall, small hail, and
erratic outflow wind gusts of 30 to 55 mph. Much drier, cooler
daytime highs, for Sunday with strong westerly winds and deep
mixing through the day bringing near-critical to critical fire 
weather conditions.
