A cold front pushing through Central Florida Saturday, deep high pressure moving into the eastern US, and a low pressure system developing off the eastern seaboard are forecast to to produce breezy to windy conditions this weekend into at least early next week. Behind the front Saturday, winds progressively southward shift to the N-NE and increase to 15-20 mph inland, and up to 20-25 mph along the coast, with gusts to around 35 mph through at least Monday. Gusts could push towards 40 mph along the coastal corridor late Saturday through Sunday, and possibly into Monday. Rain chances along and ahead of the front across the northern counties Saturday morning have decreased a bit to 20-40%, and can't rule out a lightning storm, but the best chances (50-80%) for rain and storms will be across the southern counties from Saturday afternoon into the overnight. There is also potential flooding in the southernmost counties late Saturday. Drier air filters in behind the front Sunday, knocking rain chances down, but the fresh onshore flow will support isolated to scattered onshore moving low-top showers much of next week. No min RH concerns forecast. Afternoon dispersion values Saturday will be mostly Poor to Fair due to low mixing heights, but could be higher near the coast, becoming Generally Good Sunday. Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
