Widely scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in east- central and southeast Wisconsin this afternoon along a weak surface front. Severe weather impacts are not anticipated, though the strongest thundershowers could produce brief wind gusts to 40 MPH and cloud to ground lightning. While activity will bring brief moderate to heavy downpours, precip will be short-lived in duration & unlikely to bring widespread beneficial rainfall.
