...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM SATURDAY TO
8 PM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 12 feet expected in the surf
  zone. Waves currently forecast to peak Sunday evening and 
  night.

* WHERE...The beaches north of Cape Hatteras.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 8 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and 
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is potential that high surf advisory
  criteria could last through much of the upcoming work-week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
