Pamlico Sound...

At 1001 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near The Center Of
The Pamlico Sound, or 12 nm south of Engelhard, moving east at 15
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
The Center Of The Pamlico Sound.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
