At 315 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud 8 miles northwest of Miccosukee Resort, or 17 miles southwest of Miramar. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Funnel clouds, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
