...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL RAPIDES AND
NORTHEASTERN VERNON PARISHES THROUGH 530 PM CDT...

At 504 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clifton, or 13 miles northeast of Slagle, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor 
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hutton, Clifton, Flatwoods, and Simpson.
