...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LESLIE AND EAST
CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 902 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Spring Creek, or 11 miles southwest of Hyden, moving southeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hoskinston, Creekville, Chappell, Essie, Warbranch, Mozelle, Spring
Creek, Asher, Roark, Spruce Pine, and Queendale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southeastern Kentucky.
