...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GEORGETOWN AND SOUTH
CENTRAL HORRY COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 336 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Burgess to near Pawleys
Island. Movement was east at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
DeBordieu Colony, Surfside Beach, Pawleys Island, Garden City,
Murrells Inlet, Burgess, Litchfield Beach, Plantersville, Bucksport,
and Waccamaw Community Hospital.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
