...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN RENO AND WESTERN RICE COUNTIES...

At 521 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Alden, or 7
miles west of Sterling, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lyons, Sterling, Nickerson, Chase, Alden, Raymond, and Silica.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for central and
south central Kansas.
