Large hail, damaging winds, frequent lightning, and very heavy rainfall accompanied the strongest activity. Predawn temperatures ranged from the upper 30s over portions of western and northwest Kansas to 60s over far southeast Kansas. Spotty hit-or-miss showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will linger over southeast Kansas today, but severe weather is not expected. Under mostly cloudy skies, forecast high temperatures are in the 60s for most locations across the state.
