At 914 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Saratoga to near Chateau Woods to near Navasota. Movement was south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Conroe, Humble, Tomball, Liberty, Cleveland, Dayton, Navasota, Willis, Pinehurst, Kingwood, The Woodlands, Spring, Greater Greenspoint, Washington, Oak Ridge North, Panorama Village, Shenandoah, Splendora, Patton Village, and Roman Forest. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding.
