...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
  Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Grand Haven MI...

At 100 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 28 nm east of Winthrop Harbor to 17 nm west of St.
Joseph Light to 10 nm southwest of St. Joseph, moving northeast at 45
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high 
         winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Saugatuck Pier Heads, South Haven Light, St. Joseph Light, Port
Sheldon Harbor, Grand Haven Light, Holland Light, and St. Joseph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, high waves, dangerous lightning,
and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
