RH values remain above critical levels for the next week, minimizing fire weather concerns. There will be near daily chances of storms across the area, including this evening. Storms will lead to rapidly changing wind directions and speeds, but the potential for dry- lightning is low as most of the convection looks to bring at least some moisture. Today, there is a 10% chance of patchy morning fog that should lift by noon, if it forms. Winds will be from the south-southeast, and we could see some gusts around 30 MPH in the late morning to mid- afternoon. Storms look to primarily effect Colorado today, but may impact the western column of Nebraska and Kansas counties. These storms may become severe and last into the overnight hours.
