FOR SOUTHERN CHEROKEE...NORTHEASTERN WOODBURY AND NORTHWESTERN IDA
COUNTIES...

At 542 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Quimby, or 10
miles south of Cherokee, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public. At 523pm the public reported golf ball size hail 
         3 miles west/southwest of correctionville, Iowa!

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Correctionville, Quimby, Washta, and Cushing.
