            Thunderstorms likely sparked this grass fire 
            in rural western Sioux County. Start time 
            estimated from lightning detection networks 
            with a strike collocated with the starting 
            location of this fire. Conditions at nearby 
            weather stations were breezy with southeast 
            winds gusting 25-30 MPH and relative 
            humidity values between 18-22%. The fire 
            began to spread northwest under these 
            conditions overnight. An estimated 380-425 
            acres of mostly grasslands were burned. 
            Total fire containment was confirmed on May 
            19.
