A rather strong upper level low for late Summer will be accompanied by several disturbances rotating through its base as it moves Southeast from the Upper Great Lakes today and drifts across Western New York Monday morning. Each disturbance will be accompanied by a period of showers and thunderstorms that could produce brief gusty winds and small hail. The greatest chance for precipitation will come today and tonight and will be focused mainly across Northwest and North-Central PA. Additional, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur on Monday, mainly in the afternoon and early evening. High temperatures will trend cooler by several degrees from today to Monday.
