Two distinct, embedded troughs rotating around the base of the parent upper low will bring a few periods of showers and isolated to scattered thunderstorms that could produce brief gusty winds and small hail this afternoon and early this evening. The greatest chance for precipitation will come this afternoon and tonight and will be focused mainly across Northwest and North- Central PA. High temperatures today will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s across the Northern and Western Mountains, to the lower 80s across the southeast. Lows tonight will be quite cool and only in the upper 40s to low 50s respectively across the Northern Mountains and Laurel Highlands, with mid to upper 50s across much of the remainder of Central and Southern PA. Additional, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur on Monday, mainly in the afternoon and early evening. High temperatures will trend cooler by several degrees from today to Monday.
