Easterly winds this morning will gradually shift to he southeast for the afternoon. A disturbance moving through the region will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, decreasing by 0300 MDT tonight. Thunderstorms will be capable of gusty and erratic winds to 40 mph and heavy rainfall. A low level jet sets up over the fire area this evening, shifting to the east overnight. This will bring breezy winds in the evening, before decreasing overnight. Moderate RH recoveries can be expected. Northwest winds will prevail for Sunday as another disturbance moves into the region. An associated cold front will push through during the late afternoon and evening bringing another round of showers and thunderstorms.
