A cold front will drop through the area this afternoon and evening bringing a wind shift to the north and increasing shower and weak thunderstorm chances. Ahead of the front, eastern districts will see temperatures into the lower 70s and RH down into the teens and 20s percent, with slightly cooler conditions and higher RH over the central and west. Look for cooler conditions and periods of showers/thunderstorms to continue through Thursday as an area of low pressure moves through the region. Snow levels will drop between 6-7kft by Thursday morning, with several inches of snow expected in the high country. There are currently moderate to high chances for wetting rains over western and central districts, with low to moderate chances over eastern districts. Areas along the southern mountains and foothills are expected to see precipitation totals of more than a half inch (>75% chance).
