The next disturbance to affect the region brings increasing shower/thunderstorm chances by Wednesday evening, with periods of showers and a brief cooldown through Thursday as a cold front drops through the region. Precipitation amounts have trended higher with this system with moderate to high chances of wetting rains, and moderate to high chances of exceeding 0.50 inches of precipitation near the foothills and mountains. Snow levels look to drop between 6-7k ft by Thursday morning, with several inches of snow possible in the high country.
