...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ARAPAHOE...WEST
CENTRAL ELBERT AND NORTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES UNTIL 230 PM MDT...

At 142 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Franktown, or 28 miles southeast of Denver, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Castle Rock, Parker, Elizabeth, The Pinery, Franktown, Ponderosa
  Park, southeastern Castle Pines and Castlewood Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
