* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Bottineau County in north central North Dakota...
  Northwestern McHenry County in north central North Dakota...
  Southeastern Renville County in north central North Dakota...
  East Central Ward County in north central North Dakota...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 600 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  over Glenburn to over Surrey, or along a line from 21 miles north
  of Minot to near Minot, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported at the Minot Air Force Base.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Minot, Minot Air Force Base, Surrey, Glenburn, Lansford, Granville,
  Upham, Newburg, Deering, Maxbass, Denbigh, Norwich, Russell,
  Bantry, Wolseth and Eckman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms have produced widespread
damaging winds.

Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
Seek shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.
