...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 AM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN FRANKLIN, NORTHWESTERN HAMILTON, SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON
AND SOUTHWESTERN WAYNE COUNTIES...

At 406 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Bluford to near Rend Lake Area, or along a line from 12 miles
east of Mount Vernon to near Rend Lake Area, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Rend Lake Area, Ina, Dahlgren, Bonnie, Belle Rive and Ewing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
