...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN METCALFE AND
SOUTHWESTERN ADAIR COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of 
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central Kentucky.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN CLINTON...SOUTHWESTERN RUSSELL AND CUMBERLAND
COUNTIES...

At 451 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Burkesville,
moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Burkesville, Leslie, Waterview, Desda, Modoc, Green Grove, Ellington,
Bow, Creelsboro, and Grider.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
