...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR WESTERN MCPHERSON...RENO AND EASTERN RICE COUNTIES...

At 615 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles west of Mcpherson to near Buhler to near
Partridge, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Hutchinson, Mcpherson, South Hutchinson, Sterling, Inman, Buhler,
Haven, Nickerson, Pretty Prairie, Little River, Arlington, Turon,
Partridge, Sylvia, Windom, Plevna, Abbyville, Yoder, Willowbrook, and
Langdon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for south central
and central Kansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 100
AM CDT for south central Kansas.

building.
