* At 1029 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near The Center

  Of The Pamlico Sound, or 9 nm north of Ocracoke Inlet, moving east

  at 10 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Ocracoke, Pamlico Sound, Hatteras Inlet, and The Center Of The

  Pamlico Sound.
