* Special Marine Warning for...

  Waters from South Santee River SC to Edisto Beach SC extending from

  20 to 60 NM...

  Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA extending from 20 to 60

  NM...



* Until 545 AM EDT.



* At 502 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing

  waterspouts was located 23 NM southeast of Edisto Offshore Reef,

  moving east at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Mainly open waters from South Santee River SC to Edisto Beach SC

  extending from 20 to 60 NM and Waters from Edisto Beach SC to

  Savannah GA extending from 20 to 60 NM.
